SAN DIEGO- The Imperial Valley SoCal Boys 2007 Under 18 Soccer Team won the annual 2025 Legends F煤tbol Cup Tournament championship by defeating the host Legends Elite 64 team by a score of 1-0 earlier this month.

The competitive IV SoCal U-18 team was recently organized by Imperial High School boys' coach Marco Aguilera.

性视界传媒淭his team was put together almost four months ago,性视界传媒� Aguilera said. 性视界传媒淲e are currently two for three in tournaments, having won two championships, The Spring Madness Cup and 性视界传媒楾he Cup性视界传媒�, and making it to the semi-final match of The Classic Tournament.性视界传媒�

The Legends F煤tbol Cup Tournament, known throughout youth soccer programs as 性视界传媒淭he Cup性视界传媒�, annually draws over 350 boys and girls teams in various age groups to the La Jolla area with balanced competition in each flight and coastal pitches.

Opening pool play in 性视界传媒淭he Cup性视界传媒� in the Boys 2007/08 Black Division at Madison High School on Saturday, June 14th, the IV SoCal defeated the San Diego Force FC by a score of 2-0, behind goals by Joshua Ibarra and Edgard German.

In their next match at Mission Bay High School, the IV SoCal continued their winning ways picking up their second win on Saturday evening when Carlo Osuna scored twice as they the tournament host Legends FC Elite by a score of 2-0.

On Sunday, June 15th, at La Jolla High School, the IV SoCal wrapped up the Boys 2007/08 Black Division Pool Play by shutting out the South Bank Soccer Club of Casa Grande, Arizona.

Goalies Lucas Mora and Christian Gonzalez teamed up with the IV SoCal defense to shut out South Bank SC by a score of 3-0, with German scoring two goals while Jaret Padilla added another goal.

Advancing to the championship match of their division at 性视界传媒淭he Cup性视界传媒� on Sunday evening, IV SoCal again faced the Legends FC Elite. The team scored off a corner kick set-piece, with Ian Zuniga striking the ball on a one-touch volley into the goal for a 1-0 win.

For his goalkeeping throughout 'The Cup', which included contributing to four shutouts through IV SoCal性视界传媒檚 four matches, Mora was named the tournament性视界传媒檚 MVP.

The IV SoCal U-18 is also involved in the Torneo Inter Collonias Barrios 2025 in Mexicali.

性视界传媒淲e are currently playing across the border in Mexicali, and we are seeded number one in the tournament,性视界传媒� Aguilera said. 性视界传媒淓ventually, we性视界传媒檒l be back to tournament play when we travel to Los Angeles to participate in this year's Copa Alianza in August.性视界传媒�

The IV SoCal U-18 features nine players from Southwest High, eight from Imperial, three from Brawley, and one from Central with the goal of getting exposure to further their careers.

性视界传媒淭his team is composed of high school players from different schools, and potentially some of these players could end up at our local college, or other colleges, continuing their education and soccer careers,性视界传媒� Aguilera said.
