Spectacularly Impressive! Musically Superb! Acting Extraordinaire!
These are but a few superlatives that my husband and I would use to describe the fabulous musical, "The Sound of Music," that was presented by the North County Coalition of the Arts, May 30-June 1!
To isolate one vocalist or actor/actress with plaudits of praise would be a disservice to all the others; EVERYONE who sang or acted was at a prime level of performance! Kudos to everyone who spent multiple hours of time learning their script, memorizing the words to the songs, learning the melodies and harmonies for each musical rendition and spending uncountable hours of rehearsal time to reach the utmost perfection of this presentation!
To the production team, whose efforts were exemplary; to the backstage crew, who many times go unrecognized and who added tremendously to the overall presentation's success; and to the many individuals who spent endless hours helping in so many unnamed ways, we say, "Thank You for helping to keep music/drama alive in the Imperial Valley."
We look forward to another year of enjoying a phenomenally impressive evening/afternoon of music/drama!
Musically & Dramatically Inspired,
